Welcome to Northwest Bounty!

orthwest Bounty is not a cooking show in the conventional sense, but a food and wine pairing show. It takes the conventional cooking show format in an exciting new direction by emphasizing the relationship between food and wine. We celebrate the great raw ingredients that are necessary to create world-class wine and great food. Our show makes fine wine and exquisite foods approachable to everyone, and teaches the viewer to be the master of their own wine pairing destiny.

You, the viewer, will learn how to cook on the fly; just like chefs do; by using what's in season and what products inspire you! The goal is to teach our viewers how to cook as a philosophy, not just learn how to replicate set recipes; to understand how tastes go together, and to trust yourself to experiment. We encourage you to slow down; cook with your friends and family; be inspired by your local bounty.

Northwest Bounty gets out of the sound stage kitchen set and into the actual wineries and farmer's markets and retail outlets of the Northwest. You are encouraged to taste the same wines featured on the show during the broadcast, thereby learning not only by seeing and listening, but by tasting along with Andrew; to use three senses instead of two when watching the show. For the ultimate sensory experience, the show is filmed in High Definition Television.
