Wonderful fresh raspberry, bing cherry aromas with intriguing cola notes make the perfume complex and enticing. Firm, silky tannins round out the mouth feel while flavors linger on and on...

2006 Brick House Cuvee du Tonnelier Pinot Noir
Doug Tunnell is one of my favorite personalities in the Willamette Valley. He's soft spoken, passionate about his vineyard and uncompromising in his pursuit in making exemplary wines. His newly released Select Pinot Noir is a blend of both Dijon and Pommard clones from his Ribbon Ridge estate. The aromas in the glass are intoxicating; the wine is at the same time refreshingly light and zippy on the palate with warm, spiced fruit flavors filling the mouth.
Andrew's suggested pairing:
Thyme and Sweet Bay Leaf Roasted Chicken, Sautéed Yellow Finn Potatoes, Broccoli, Whole Grain Mustard Sauce.
2006 deLancellotti Family Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir
With less than 150 cases produced, this newly released small production gem is a blockbuster Oregon Pinot Noir for sure. The deLancellotti family have lovingly tended their vineyard in years past which has been bottled under the Bergstrom Label as a single Vineyard designate. The 2005 Pinot Noir is their first release and boy is it an attention grabber! Dark, ruby red color, deep bramble berry flavors with subtle spice and pleasant toasted oak noted are in the background. Hurry to order this one before the press discovers it! Rumor has it, that'll be any day now...
Andrew's suggested pairing:
Pinot Noir Braised Leg and Thigh of Muscovy Duck with Sweet Garlic Creamed Kale and Roasted Morels.
2007 Ponzi Vineyards Pinot Blanc
Looking for the perfect summer sipper? This is one of my favorite wines by the renowned Ponzi wine family every vintage. Most of the fruit is grown on an estate vineyard, named Aurora for its breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, high in the Chehalem Mountains. Founders Dick and Nancy Ponzi live at the perch of the vineyard. Winemaker Luisa Ponzi works her magic in cellar with this delicate grape. Honeysuckle and summer melon aromas lead to crisp, refreshing acidity in the mouth. Great to sip on its own or think-
Andrew's suggested pairing:
Creamy Dungeness Crab Salad with Golden Beets, Horseradish Whipped Créme Frâiche and Meyer Lemon Dressing.
